Emirates Golf Club (Faldo)

Overview

The second championship course at Emirates Golf Club, opened in 1996, was initially named Wadi, meaning “valley” in Arabic. Competing with the original Majlis course was a significant challenge, but the course was well-received. In 2006, the Wadi underwent a redesign by six-time major winner Nick Faldo and was renamed the Faldo course.

The Faldo course features dramatic bunkering from tee to green, creating an engaging challenge for golfers. With fourteen strategically positioned lakes, the course demands precision and effective course management to navigate its spacious fairways and large greens successfully. Despite the ample space, players must maintain accuracy to achieve low scores on this well-designed layout.
