Antalya Golf Club, located in Belek, boasts two renowned 18-hole courses, PGA Sultan and Pasha, set amidst a stunning landscape that includes wooded areas, sandy banks, and picturesque ponds originally swamps. Designed by David Jones in collaboration with European Golf Design in the late 1990s, both layouts feature water hazards on half the holes and numerous challenging pot bunkers strategically placed around fairways and greens.
The PGA Sultan course offers a thrilling front nine culminating in “The Choice,” a risk/reward par four where players must navigate water on the left for a favourable approach shot. The back nine includes formidable par fours like the 476-yard 12th, known for its narrow fairway and demanding approach.
The round concludes with “Looking Back,” a 448-yard par four that demands precision off the tee to avoid water on both sides of the fairway and challenges golfers with five bunkers guarding the green.
In October 2012, the PGA Sultan course co-hosted the Eisenhower Trophy, where the USA team secured victory. Shortly after, the course hosted the Turkish Airlines World Golf Final, attracting top-ranked professionals, with Justin Rose emerging victorious, claiming the $1.5 million prize.
