Located beside Aberlady Bay in East Lothian, Kilspindie Golf Club boasts a rich history dating back to its formation in 1867, making it one of the world’s oldest clubs. The area’s golfing legacy extends further, with golf believed to have been played along the coast since the 16th century, frequented by King James V.

Measuring 5,480 yards from the medal tees, Kilspindie offers a traditional Scottish links experience with a par of 69. Despite its modest length, the course’s layout, featuring one par five and four par threes, ensures an enjoyable round for players of all abilities.

From the scenic 167-yard opener to the challenging 252-yard final hole, Kilspindie showcases classic links golf, characterised by undulating fairways and strategic hazards. Accessible via a private road winding alongside Aberlady Bay, Kilspindie is often hailed as a “hidden gem” of Scottish golf, offering a serene and authentic golfing experience in a picturesque coastal setting.
